3. Where our images come from

Photographs and illustrations fall into three groups, and every file records its source and licence in our system:

• Our own work or supplied by a partner — copyright ours or the partner’s.
• Openly licensed material (for example CC BY, CC BY-SA or CC0 from Wikimedia Commons) — credited and licensed as that licence requires.
• Images readers upload to their profile panels — copyright stays with the reader; we hold only the licence needed to display them (see the Terms).

If you believe we have used your work without permission or credited it incorrectly, write to the copyright address with a link to the work and the basis of your claim. We will check, correct or take it down promptly.

4. Third-party content and links

We may quote third-party data (sports statistics, embedded video, partner-supplied material) or link to other sites. Those rights belong to their owners, and we do not warrant their accuracy, timeliness or completeness.

5. Licensing and disputes

To republish, translate or make commercial use of our content, write to the copyright address describing the use and scope. This notice is governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan); disputes go to the Taiwan Taipei District Court as court of first instance.
